Ashhkaro

Building the foundation of an all-in-one platform for Pakistan.

One app for finding businesses, properties, services and, over time, much more. Groflex took Ashhkaro from an ambitious idea to a working product: product thinking, UX, engineering and a live release on Google Play.

02The vision

The idea was bigger than an app.

Ashhkaro started with a simple, ambitious question: what if finding a business, renting a home, booking a service, buying and selling all lived in one connected app?

The goal was never a single-purpose app. It was an ecosystem: many verticals, one account, one familiar experience.

A more connected Pakistan, where everything you need is a few taps away.

03The challenge

One ecosystem. Many experiences.

Today, people move between business directories, property portals, service apps and marketplaces, each with its own login, layout and habits. Ashhkaro set out to replace all of that with a single app.

The real problem wasn't building features. It was this: how do you make a platform this broad feel simple?

  • Breadth vs clarity

Many verticals under one roof, but the home screen can’t feel like a directory.

  • Buyers vs sellers

The same app serves people looking for things and the businesses listing them.

  • Now vs later

Two verticals are live and more are coming. The product has to feel complete today and ready to grow.

04Our approach

Build the foundation first.

Launching every vertical at once would have meant a thin version of everything. Instead, we built a shared core with the parts every vertical needs, then shipped verticals on top of it, one phase at a time. Each phase delivers real value, earns real feedback and makes the next one faster to build.

  1. BuiltFoundation

    Shared core

Accounts, seller mode, search, listings, bookings and a design system every vertical plugs into.

  2. LivePhase 01

    Business Discovery

Find local businesses and services, view their details, then book or get in touch.

  3. LivePhase 02

    Properties

Buy, rent or book a place, with filters, detailed listings and direct contact.

  4. In developmentPhase 03+

    More verticals

Ride & Drive, Food & Groceries, Shop & Retail and more, all on the same core.

  5. NextLaunch

    Market launch

Marketing, user acquisition and expansion across Pakistan.

05UX

Designing complexity out.

We mapped the journeys people actually take and removed every step that didn't help them decide. Both live verticals follow the same shape, so learning one teaches you the other.

  • 01

    One home, many doors

Every vertical starts from the same home screen, so a new vertical never means new navigation to learn.

  • 02

    One pattern everywhere

Browse, details, action. Learn it once for businesses and properties already feel familiar.

  • 03

    Show what’s coming

Upcoming verticals are visible but clearly marked “Live soon”, so people know what’s next without the clutter.

06Product

Real screens. Real product.

Screens from the Android app today: the two live verticals, and the seller tools, membership and AI assistant built around them.

07Engineering

From interface to production.

Groflex handled the full build: mobile app, backend, integrations and release.

The architecture mirrors the product strategy: verticals are modules on a shared core, so each new one is an extension rather than a rebuild.

08Launch

From concept to Google Play.

The first two phases are live. People can find businesses and properties today, and the foundation is in place for everything that comes next.

10Groflex

We build ambitious products.

Ashhkaro needed more than good-looking screens. It needed a team to take a broad idea, give it structure, design it, engineer it and ship it. That's the work we do.
